Question by --: What type of floor would you recommend for our basement?
Currently, we have a partially finished basement was was done decades ago. There is asbestos tile which is intact except for several tiles that are missing in their entirety. We've been advised to either leave it as is or cover it up. The basement is pretty dry. We run a dehumidifier in the summer in case.
On four occasions, water has gotten in. Twice, after new windows were installed, once when the washer broke and
