Also what can cause it other than smoking? My mom was diagnosed four months ago and is a non-smoker

Answer by I Sdepends on the clinical performance. but for stage IV lung cancer, only 10% of patients who have recieved treatment will live for the next 12 months.
besides smoking the outher causes are asbestos, residential radon gas, industrial carcinogens
