Mesothelioma is a deadly form of cancer most commonly found in the lungs, heart and abdomen and is usually caused by asbestos. Typically, malignant mesothelioma develops when one is repeatedly exposed to asbestos, which is a flame-resistant material once used for insulation. Asbestos is also found in ceiling and floor tiles, roof shingles, cement, automobile brakes and clutches.Most of those suffering from malignant mesothelioma have breathed asbestos at work.
